There are a few different ways that you can get smooth shadows in Figma. One way is to use the built-in drop shadow effect.

To do this, select the object that you want to add a shadow to and then click on the “Effects” tab in the right sidebar. Next, click on the “Drop Shadow” effect and then adjust the settings to your liking.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you may end up with a shadow that is not smooth. Be sure to use the right settings and follow the instructions carefully.

Another way to get smooth shadows in Figma is to use the “Blur” effect. To do this, select the object that you want to add a shadow to and then click on the “Effects” tab in the right sidebar. Next, click on the “Blur” effect and then adjust the settings to your liking.

You can also create custom shadows using the pen tool. To do this, select the object that you want to add a shadow to and then click on the “Pen” tool in the toolbar. Next, click on any point around the edge of the object and then drag your mouse to create a custom shadow.

No matter which method you use, getting smooth shadows in Figma is easy and only takes a few seconds!
