How Do You Insert a Textbox in Figma?

Figma is a vector graphic design tool that is slowly becoming the industry standard for interface design. One of Figma’s best features is its ease of use—and that includes adding text boxes. In this article, we’ll show you how to add a text box in Figma, as well as how to style text using the < p >, < b >, and < u > tags.

To add a text box in Figma, simply click on the “+” icon in the left sidebar and select “Text” from the dropdown menu. This will insert a text box into your design.

You can then click inside the text box to start typing. Also, in the right-side panel, you can change your textbox style in the Text properties panel.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the Figma text box feature is still in beta and may not work as expected. Proceed with caution when using this feature.

To style text using HTML tags, simply select the text you want to style and click the “HTML” button in the toolbar. This will open the HTML editor, where you can add tags such as < p >, < b >, and < u >. Be sure to save your changes before exiting the HTML editor.
