How do you make a 3D box in Illustrator?

Making a 3D box in Illustrator is relatively easy. First, create a new document with the desired dimensions. (For this example, we’ll use a 600 x 600px document.) Next, create a basic box shape using the Rectangle tool (M).

You can use the Options bar to change the shape of the box, or simply use the mouse to drag the handles around the box. You’ll also want to change the fill color of the box to black.

Now, we’ll create the 3D effect. To do this, select the Box tool (M) and click on the center of the black fill of the box. This will create a 3D box.

PRO TIP: Please be advised that creating a 3D box in Illustrator can be a complex process. There are many steps involved and it is important to follow each one carefully in order to create a successful 3D box. If you are not experienced in using Illustrator, we recommend that you seek help from someone who is before attempting to create a 3D box.

To make the box more realistic, you can increase the size of the box by clicking and dragging the corners of the box. You can also add more boxes to the document and position them around the original box.

To finish, you’ll want to add a text layer over the 3D box. This text layer will contain the text you want to appear inside the 3D box.

You can type the text in any font you want, and you can change the size, color, and position of the text layer. Finally, you can add a light source to the scene by clicking on the light bulb icon in the layers panel and selecting the desired light source.
