How do you make a gold gradient in Illustrator?

In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a beautiful gold gradient in Illustrator.gradient ( Illustrator CS6 and newer) is a powerful tool that allows you to create stunning color gradients with ease.

To start, create a new document in Illustrator and size it to your desired size. We will be using a 1200 x 1200px document for this tutorial.

Next, create a new layer and name it gradient.

Now, select the Rectangular Gradient Tool from the Gradient Toolbox and click on the gradient layer to select it.

Next, click on the top left corner of the gradient layer and drag it downwards until you reach the bottom right corner.

Now, release the mouse button and you will see that the gradient has been created.

To add a little more detail to the gradient, repeat the steps above but drag the gradient layer upwards until it reaches the top left corner.

Finally, release the mouse button and you will see that the gradient has been modified.

Now, we will add a gold gradient to our document. To do this, we will use the Gold Gradient Tool.

To use the Gold Gradient Tool, first select it from the Gradient Toolbox.

Next, click on the gradient layer and drag it downwards until you reach the bottom right corner.

Now, we will add a golden halo to our document. To do this, we will use the Outer Glow Tool.

To use the Outer Glow Tool, first select it from the Tools Panel.

Next, click on the gradient layer and drag it upwards until it reaches the top left corner.

Next, add a new layer above the gradient layer and name it halo.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that creating a gold gradient in Illustrator can be a complex process. There are many different ways to create a gold gradient, and each method has its own set of pros and cons. Now, select the Outer Glow Tool from the Tools Panel and click on the halo layer to select it.

To use the Shadow Tool, first select it from the Tools Panel.

Now, release the mouse button and you will see that the shadow has been created.

Finally, we will add a golden border to our document. To do this, we will use the Border Tool.

To use the Border Tool, first select it from the Tools Panel.

Now, release the mouse button and you will see that the border has been created.

Finally, we will add a golden gradient to our document. To do this, we will use the Gradient Tool.

To use the Gradient Tool, first select it from the Tools Panel.

Finally, we will add a golden halo to our document.
