When you want to add some extra information to your photos or videos, lower thirds are a great way to do it. And Photoshop is a great tool for creating them! Here’s how to make lower thirds in Photoshop:

1. Start by creating a new layer in your Photoshop document.

2. Next, use the Rectangle Tool to draw a rectangle that will serve as the background for your lower third.

3. Once you have your rectangle, go to the Layer Style menu and add a Stroke effect. This will create a border around your lower third.

4. Now it’s time to add the text for your lower third. Use the Type Tool to create a new text layer and type out whatever information you want to include.

5. To style your text, go to the Text menu and choose from the various options available. You can change the font, size, color, etc.

6. Once you’re happy with how your lower third looks, go to the File menu and save your work!

PRO TIP: Lower thirds are a graphic overlay placed over the bottom third of the screen, typically used to identify the name and title of a person on screen. They can be created in Photoshop, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, lower thirds should be simple and easy to read. Second, they should be placed lower on the screen so as not to obstruct the main action. Third, they should be subtle and not too distracting.
