When it comes to creating transparent text in Photoshop, there are a few different ways that you can go about it. One way is to use the layer styles options. You can create a new layer and then click on the “fx” icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

From there, you can choose the “stroke” option and set the color to black. Then, you can set the “Fill Opacity” to zero. This will create a transparent stroke around your text.

Another way that you can create transparent text is by using a clipping mask. First, you’ll need to create a new layer and add your text to it. Then, create a shape on a separate layer that is the same size as your text layer.

PRO TIP: This article provides tips on how to make transparency transparent in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that transparency is a relative term and cannot be applied universally. Additionally, when making changes to transparency, it is important to be aware of the potential impact on other areas of the image. Making changes to transparency can result in unwanted effects, such as making an image appear blurry or distorted.

Make sure that the shape is filled with black and has no stroke. Select both layers and then go to Layer > Create Clipping Mask. This will make the shape act as a mask for the text layer, making the text appear transparent.

The last way to create transparent text is by using an alpha channel. First, open your image in Photoshop and go to the channels panel. Here, you’ll see a list of all of the channels in your image. Click on the channel that has the most contrast with your background. For example, if you’re trying to make white text transparent against a black background, you would click on the channel with the most black in it.

Once you’ve selected your channel, go to Image > Adjustments > Levels and drag the middle slider to the left until your background is completely black and your text is completely white. Then, click on the eye icon next to the RGB channel at the top of the channels panel to make it visible again. Go back to your layers panel and select the layer with your text on it. Click on the “Add Layer Mask” icon at the bottom of the panel and then click on “Invert” in the menu that appears. This will add a mask to your text layer that hides everything except for your text, making it appear transparent.

As you can see, there are a few different ways that you can make transparency transparent in Photoshop!
