How Do You Move a Project to a Team in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:51 pm

There are a few different ways that you can move a project to a team in Figma. One way is to click on the ‘Share’ button in the top-right corner of the project and then select ‘Move to Team.’ Another way is to click on the ‘..’ button next to the project name and select ‘Move to Team’ from the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: If you are working on a project in Figma and need to move it to a team, be sure to export your project first. Otherwise, you may lose work or have difficulty accessing your project later.

If you are the owner of the project, you will be asked to select which team you would like to move the project to. If you are not the owner of the project, you will need to ask the owner to move the project to a team.

Once you have selected a team, the project will be moved to that team and will appear in the ‘Projects’ tab for that team.
