How Do You Put a Border Around an Image in Photoshop?

There are a few different ways that you can put a border around an image in Photoshop. One way is to use the ‘stroke’ tool.

With the stroke tool selected, simply click on the edge of the image that you want to add a border to. You can then adjust the width and color of the stroke to your liking.

Another way to add a border to an image is to use the ‘select’ tool to select the entire image, and then go to ‘Edit > Stroke’. This will bring up a dialog box where you can adjust the width and color of the stroke.

If you want to add a border to only part of an image, you can use the ‘select’ tool to select the area that you want to add a border to, and then go to ‘Edit > Stroke’.

PRO TIP: When adding a border to an image in Photoshop, be sure to select the desired color for the border before creating the new layer. Otherwise, the border will default to black.
