When you first open an image in Photoshop, the default measurement units are pixels. However, you can easily change these to any other system of measurement, such as inches or centimeters. To reset the bounding box in Photoshop, first open the Preferences dialog box. You can do this by going to Edit > Preferences > Units & Rulers.

In the Units & Rulers preferences, make sure that the ruler units and document units are set to the system of measurement that you want to use. For example, if you want to use inches, make sure that both the “Ruler units” and “Type units” options are set to “Inches.” Once you’ve done this, simply click “OK” to save your changes and close the Preferences dialog box.

Now that you’ve reset the bounding box in Photoshop, all new documents that you create will use your preferred system of measurement. However, if you have an existing document that was created using a different system of measurement, you can easily change it to match your new preferences. To do this, simply go to Image > Image Size.

In the Image Size dialog box, make sure that the “Document Dimensions” are set to your preferred system of measurement. For example, if you want to use inches, make sure that the “Width” and “Height” options are both set to “Inches.” Once you’ve done this, simply click “OK” to save your changes and close the Image Size dialog box.
