Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 1:14 pm

If you need to resize a Linode disk, you can do so using the Linode-resize tool. The Linode-resize tool allows you to resize disks from 2GB to 128GB in size. You can also resize disks from 4GB to 256GB in size. To resize a disk, first use the Linode-resize tool to determine the size of the disk you want to resize. Next, use the Linode-resize tool to calculate the new size for the disk.

PRO TIP: If you are not comfortable with Linux commands, then you should not attempt to resize a Linode disk. Incorrectly resizing a disk can result in data loss.

Finally, use the Linode-resize tool to resize the disk. Finally, use the Linode-umount tool to unmount the old disk and mount the new disk.
