When you’re working in Photoshop, there are a few different ways to save your work as a JPEG. The first thing to do is to make sure that your document is in the right format.

If it’s not, you can go to Image > Image Format and change it to RGB. You can also change the mode to 8 bits/channel while you’re in this menu.

Once your document is in the right format, you can go to File > Save As and choose JPEG from the drop-down menu. You’ll also see a few options for quality:

PRO TIP: When saving a Photoshop file as a JPEG, it is important to note that the image will be compressed and some detail may be lost. It is also important to choose the right quality setting, as a lower quality setting will result in a lower quality image.
  • Baseline: This is the lowest quality setting, and it will result in a smaller file size. This is a good option if you’re planning on uploading your image to the web.
  • Progressive: This setting will save your image in multiple passes, which can be helpful if you’re planning on displaying it on a slow connection. The trade-off is that it will result in a larger file size.
  • Standard: This is the default quality setting, and it will give you a balance of file size and quality.

You can also adjust the compression level by clicking on theAdvanced button. This will bring up a menu with three different options:

  • Low: This will result in a smaller file size, but it may also lower the quality of your image.
  • Medium: This is the default compression level, and it will give you a balance of file size and quality.
  • High: This will result in a larger file size, but it will preserve the quality of your image.
