How Do You Show Cursor in Figma Prototype?

PRO TIP: If you are working on a Figma prototype and want to show the cursor, be aware that there is currently a known issue with this feature. The workaround is to use the “Custom Cursor” feature instead.

The cursor is an important part of any user interface. It helps the user keep track of where they are on the screen and navigate around. Figma supports two types of cursors: the pointer cursor and the hand cursor.

The pointer cursor is the default cursor type. It is used to indicate that an element is clickable. The hand cursor is used to indicate that an element is draggable.

To change the cursor type, select an element on the canvas and go to the Properties panel. Under Cursor, select the desired cursor type from the drop-down list.

The style of the cursor can also be customized. To do this, go to File > Preferences > Appearance and select the Customize Cursor checkbox. This will open a window where you can select the desired cursor style.

So there you have it! That’s how you show cursor in Figma prototype.

By default, Figma uses a pointer cursor to indicate that an element is clickable and a hand cursor to indicate that an element is draggable. However, you can change the cursor type and customize the style to better suit your needs.
