How Do You Use a Mockup Studio in Figma?

A mockup studio is a powerful tool that allows you to create realistic simulations of your designs. By using a mockup studio, you can save time and money by testing your designs before they are built.

Mockup studios are available for many different software applications, but Figma is one of the most popular. Figma’s mockup studio is easy to use and provides a wide range of features.

To use a mockup studio in Figma, first select the ‘Create new file’ option from the main menu. Then, click on the ‘+’ icon in the ‘Files’ panel and select ‘Mockup’ from the list of file types.

Once you have created a new mockup file, you can start adding your designs. To do this, simply drag and drop your design files from the ‘Assets’ panel into the mockup file.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma is a design tool and not a mockup studio. While you can create prototypes in Figma, we do not recommend using it for this purpose. If you are looking for a tool to create high-fidelity mockups, we recommend using Adobe Photoshop or Sketch.

Once your designs are in place, you can start adding mockups. Figma provides a wide range of pre-built mockups for common design elements such as buttons, input fields and navigation menus.

Simply drag and drop the desired mockup into your design.

You can also customize each mockup to match your specific needs. To do this, simply double-click on the mockup in your design and make changes in the ‘Properties’ panel.

When you are happy with your design, you can export it as an image or PDF file. To do this, simply click on the ‘Export’ button in the top-right corner of the screen and select the desired file format.

Conclusion: A mockup studio is a powerful tool that allows you to create realistic simulations of your designs.

By using a mockup studio, you can save time and money by testing your designs before they are built.
