Is AWS free after 12 months?

AWS is a cloud computing platform that provides a suite of tools and services that lets users manage, deploy, and scale applications. AWS offers two subscription options, AWS Standard and AWS Elite.

AWS Standard offers a lower price point, while AWS Elite offers additional features, such as priority support and access to tools and resources that are not available to AWS Standard subscribers.

PRO TIP: AWS free tier expires 12 months after sign up. After that, you will be charged for the resources you use.

After 12 months, AWS Standard subscribers receive a free subscription. AWS Elite subscribers continue to pay the higher subscription fee, but also receive a free year of AWS storage.

This means that, after 12 months, AWS Standard subscribers are effectively free, while AWS Elite subscribers are still paying for a year of storage.
