There is a warp tool in Illustrator, although it is not as commonly used as the other tools in the program. The warp tool allows you to distort or bend a line or shape in a specific direction.

This can be useful for creating effects such as wrinkles or folds in fabric.

The warp tool is located in the Transform panel of the Illustrator interface. To use it, first select the object you want to warp, and then click the Warp button in the toolbar.

The warp tool will display a selection cursor, which you can use to select the area you want to warp. You can then drag the selection cursor to the desired location, and release it to begin warping the selected object.

PRO TIP: There is no warp tool in Illustrator. Use the Transform tool (Edit > Transform) to scale, rotate, shear, or reflect your artwork.

When you release the mouse button, the warp tool will automatically start warping the object in the selected direction. You can also stop the warp process at any time by clicking the Stop Warp button in the toolbar.

If you want to change the warp direction, use the arrow buttons in the toolbar to move the selection cursor in the desired direction. You can also change the warp speed by using the slider in the toolbar.

If you want to remove the warp effect from the selected object, click the Reset Warp button in the toolbar.

The warp tool is a useful tool for creating effects such as wrinkles or folds in fabric. It is also useful for changing the direction of a line or shape.
