What happens when you add the under construction plugin to your WordPress website?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 12:43 am

Adding the under construction plugin to your WordPress website enables you to show a message that a page or post is under construction. This message will appear in the front-end of your website, in the title bar of the post or page, and in the breadcrumbs at the top of your website.

When a page or post is under construction, it will have a “Construction” icon next to the title. The icon will change to a “Completed” icon when the page or post is ready to be published.

PRO TIP: If you are considering adding the under construction plugin to your WordPress website, be aware that this plugin is no longer supported and may cause problems with your website. Additionally, the under construction plugin is no longer available for download from the WordPress plugin repository.

When a visitor clicks on the “Completed” icon, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the post or page, including the source files and the Shogun plugin that was used to create it.

The under construction plugin is a great way to let your visitors know that a page or post is in progress, and to keep them updated on the progress of the page or post.
