Illustrator is a vector graphic design program that is used to create illustrations, logos, and art. The program has a wide variety of symbols that can be used in your illustrations.

Some of the symbols that are commonly used in Illustrator illustrations are the stroke, fill, and border symbols. Here is a guide on how to use these symbols in your illustrations.

The stroke symbol is used to create basic lines in your illustrations. To create a stroke, you will first need to select the line tool from the Illustrator toolbar.

Next, you will need to select the stroke option from the menu that pops up. This will allow you to create a stroke with a width and a color.

PRO TIP: If you are working in Illustrator and cannot find the symbols palette, make sure that you have the “Type” tool selected. The symbols palette will only appear when the “Type” tool is selected.

The fill symbol is used to fill in areas of your illustrations. To use the fill symbol, you will first need to select the fill tool from the Illustrator toolbar.

Next, you will need to select the fill option from the menu that pops up. This will allow you to fill in areas with a color or a gradient.

The border symbol is used to create borders around areas of your illustrations. To use the border symbol, you will first need to select the border tool from the Illustrator toolbar.

Next, you will need to select the border option from the menu that pops up. This will allow you to create a border with a width and a color.
