Can You Resize Images in Squarespace?

Squarespace is an user-friendly platform that helps you create a website without having to learn coding. It offers a range of features to make your website look professional, including the ability to resize images. You can resize images in Squarespace in a few different ways, depending on what you want to achieve.

If you want to change the size of an image without changing the dimensions, you can use the Image Editor. To do this, open the image in the Image Editor and select ‘Resize.’

From here, you can enter new dimensions for the width and height, or you can choose one of the presets. The image will be resized according to your specifications.

If you want to change both the size and the dimensions of an image, you’ll need to use an image editor like Photoshop. Once you’ve edited the image to your liking, upload it to Squarespace and select ‘Insert.’ Choose ‘Image’ from the drop-down menu and select your edited image.

PRO TIP: Squarespace does not currently offer a way to resize images in their platform. If you are looking to resize images, you will need to use an outside program such as Photoshop or Pixlr.

On the next screen, select ‘Custom.’ Here, you can enter new dimensions for both the width and height. Save your changes and preview your website to see the updated image.

You can also add text wrapping around images in Squarespace. To do this, open the image in the Image Editor and select ‘Wrap Text.’

Choose whether you want the text to wrap around the entire image or just part of it. Then, select how much space you want between the image and the text. Save your changes and preview your website to see how it looks.

Squarespace makes it easy to resize images without having to learn coding. With a few clicks, you can update images on your website without any trouble.
