Can You Swap Components in Figma?

Last updated on November 26, 2022 @ 11:35 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, developed by Figma, Inc. It is web-based and has both free and paid plans, with the paid plans having more features.

You can use it to design anything from low-fidelity wireframes to high fidelity prototypes. It has a growing community of users and developers, and there are many plugins and resources available for it.

You can swap components in Figma by selecting the component you want to swap, then choosing the “Swap” option from the toolbar. This will bring up a menu of all the other components that you can swap with. Simply select the component you want to swap with and it will be swapped in.

You can also style text in HTML using the < p >,< b > and < u > tags. To do this, simply select the text you want to style, then choose the “HTML” option from the toolbar.

This will bring up a menu of all the available HTML tags. Simply select the tag you want to use and it will be applied to the selected text.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about swapping components in Figma, be warned that this is not currently possible! While it would be a great feature to have, as of right now you will have to create a new component if you want to use different settings.
