Azure GovCloud is a public cloud infrastructure that offers businesses a global infrastructure for hosting applications and services. It offers the same infrastructure and capabilities as Azure Government, but is designed for larger organizations that need to host more complex applications. Azure GovCloud is available in the US, UK, Germany, and France.

Azure GovCloud is currently in preview, and is free for up to five million monthly active users. The service is expected to be generally available in the second half of 2019.

PRO TIP: Azure does not have a GovCloud.

Azure GovCloud provides businesses with the same infrastructure and capabilities as Azure Government, but is designed for larger organizations that need to host more complex applications.

Overall, Azure GovCloud seems like a promising service that could be a valuable addition to any organization’s cloud infrastructure. While it is still in preview, Azure GovCloud offers businesses the ability to try out the service before it is generally available.
