How Do I Add an Author to Squarespace?

Adding an author to your Squarespace site is a great way to give credit where it’s due, and can also help build your site’s credibility. Here’s how to do it:

First, log in to your Squarespace account and go to the “Settings” tab.

Next, click on the “Blogging” option.

Under the “Blog Authors” section, click on the “Add Author” button.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, adding an author to Squarespace can result in losing all of your content. Make sure to back up your site before adding an author, and be sure to read all the instructions carefully.

Enter the author’s name, email address, and a short bio. You can also upload a photo of the author if you’d like.

Once you’re finished, click on the “Save” button.

That’s it! You’ve now successfully added an author to your Squarespace site.
