How Do I Bulk Optimize an Image in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 3:25 pm

When it comes to image optimization, Photoshop is king. There are all sorts of ways to optimize your images in Photoshop, and there are even whole plugins dedicated to the task.

But what if you want to do a quick bulk image optimization? Here’s how:

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, we recommend that you do not attempt to bulk optimize an image. Incorrectly editing an image can result in poor quality or even unusable images.

1. Open up Photoshop and go to File > Scripts > Image Processor. 2. A new window will open up. Select the folder of images you want to optimize and choose your desired output settings.

3. Under the Quality section, select Low from the drop-down menu. This will significantly reduce the file size of your images without noticeable quality loss. 4. Click Run and sit back while Photoshop does its thing!

That’s all there is to it! With just a few clicks, you can easily bulk optimize your images in Photoshop.
