How Do You Adjust the Size of an Image in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 11:04 pm

If you’re a webmaster, you know how important it is to have images that are the right size. You don’t want your pages to load slowly, and you don’t want your visitors to have to scroll horizontally to see the whole image. So how do you adjust the size of an image in Photoshop?

Here’s a quick guide:

1. Open your image in Photoshop. 2. Go to the “Image” menu and choose “Image Size.” 3. In the “Image Size” dialogue box, make sure the “Constrain Proportions” option is checked.

This will keep your image from becoming distorted as you resize it. 4. Enter the new width or height you want for your image in the appropriate field. For example, if you want your image to be 400 pixels wide, enter “400” in the “Width” field. 5. Click “OK” to resize your image.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure about how to adjust the size of an image in Photoshop, it is best to ask for help from a professional or someone who is familiar with the program.

And that’s all there is to it! Resizing images in Photoshop is quick and easy, and it’s a good skill to have in your webmaster toolkit.
