How Do I Change the Page Size in Photoshop?

There are a couple of different ways that you can change the page size in Photoshop. You can either change the canvas size or the image size. To change the canvas size, go to Image > Canvas Size.

This will bring up a dialog box where you can enter in the new dimensions for your canvas. If you want to keep the same aspect ratio, make sure that the “Relative” option is checked. Otherwise, uncheck it and enter in the exact dimensions that you want.

To change the image size, go to Image > Image Size. This will also bring up a dialog box where you can enter in new dimensions for your image.

PRO TIP: If you are using Photoshop to design pages for a print project, it is important to know how to change the page size. Incorrectly setting the page size can result in your pages being printed too small or too large. Follow the steps in this article carefully to avoid any problems.

Unlike changing the canvas size, changing the image size will actually resize the images on your canvas. So if you have a lot of images on your canvas, changing the image size will cause them to become smaller or bigger.

You can also change both the image and canvas size at the same time by going to Image > Resize > Canvas Size and Image Size. This will bring up two dialog boxes, one for each setting.

No matter which method you use to change the page size in Photoshop, make sure that you save your file afterwards so that your changes are saved.
