How do I convert Photoshop to vector in Illustrator?

If you want to convert Photoshop to vector in Illustrator, the first step is to open Photoshop and create a new document. Next, choose File > Export > Vector File.

In the Export Options dialog box, select Illustrator (*.AI) as the file type and click Export.

Next, open Illustrator and create a new document. Choose File > Import > File from Illustrator.

In the Import Options dialog box, select the exported Photoshop vector file and click OK.

Now you’ll need to import the vector file into Illustrator. Choose File > Import > File from Illustrator and select the imported file.

In the Illustrator Import Options dialog box, select the option to Copy As > Path. In the Path Options dialog box, set the Type to Polyline and click OK.

You’ll now need to edit the vector file in Illustrator. First, select the entire path in the Path panel and delete the existing path lines.

Next, add a new path line and set the Type to Bezier. Click OK to exit the Path panel.

In the Path Operations panel, click the Union button ( ). In the resulting dialog box, set the Operation to Subtract and click OK.

You’re now finished editing the path line in the Pathfinder panel. Next, select the entire path in the Path panel and click the Fill and Stroke panel icon ( ).

In the Fill and Stroke dialog box, click the Stroke button and set the Width to 1 pt and the Color to #000000. Click OK to exit the Fill and Stroke dialog box.

Finally, you’ll need to save the vector file. Choose File > Save As and enter the filename in the File Name box.

In the Format box, select the format of your choice and click Save.
