When you’re working with images in Figma, you may need to crop them to fit a specific space. Cropping an image is a quick and easy way to edit an image without having to open it in another program. Here’s how to crop an image in Figma:

PRO TIP: If you are trying to crop an image in Figma, be aware that there is no built-in cropping tool. However, there are a few ways you can work around this. One way is to use the Slice tool to create a slice around the area you want to crop. You can then use the Export function to export the image as a PNG or JPG. Another way is to use the Rectangle tool to draw a rectangle over the area you want to crop. You can then use the Crop Image function in the Inspector panel to crop the image.

To crop an image in Figma, first select the image you want to crop. Then, click on the “Edit” button in the top toolbar. A new window will open with the image editing tools. To crop the image, click on the “Crop” tool in the left toolbar.

You can then use the mouse to select the area you want to keep. When you’re happy with the selection, click on the “Crop” button in the top toolbar. The image will be cropped to your selection.

That’s all there is to it! Cropping an image in Figma is a quick and easy way to edit an image without having to open it in another program.
