How do I deploy a droplet in DigitalOcean?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 1:45 pm

Deploying a droplet in DigitalOcean is easy. You can create a droplet with the Create Droplet button on the droplet management page, or use the droplet creation wizard.

Once you have created your droplet, you can connect to it using the DigitalOcean UI or the command line.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to deploy a droplet in DigitalOcean, be warned that this process can be complicated and time-consuming. There are a lot of steps involved, and if you’re not careful, you could end up with a droplet that doesn’t work correctly. Make sure to read the documentation carefully and follow all the steps exactly. Otherwise, you might end up wasting a lot of time and money.

To deploy a droplet with the DigitalOcean UI, first create a new project in the DigitalOcean account that you want to deploy to your droplet. You can then select the project in the DigitalOcean account overview page, and click the Deploy to Droplet button next to the project.

To deploy a droplet with the command line, first create a new droplet in the DigitalOcean account that you want to deploy to your droplet. You can then use the droplet creation wizard to select the droplet type and the size of the droplet.

To deploy the project, use the droplet’s IP address as the deployment Target.
