How Do I Export a Framer to Figma?

There are a few ways to export a Framer prototype to Figma. One way is to use the built-in export feature in Framer, which will export your prototype as a .fig file. You can also use the ‘Share’ button in Framer to generate a shareable link, which you can then paste into Figma.

PRO TIP: When exporting a Framer project to Figma, it is important to note that only the design files will be exported. The code files will not be exported.

If you want to export your entire Framer project, you can use the ‘File > Export..’ menu item. This will export all of your project files, including any images or other assets, as a .zip file. You can then import this .zip file into Figma using the ‘File > Import.

Once your prototype is imported into Figma, you can edit it just like any other Figma file. You can add new frames, change colors, add text, and so on. When you’re done editing, you can export your design as a .png or .jpg file for use in other applications.
