How do I link my GoDaddy domain to DigitalOcean?

DigitalOcean is a great platform to host your website. If you already have a GoDaddy domain, you can easily link it to DigitalOcean.

To link your GoDaddy domain to DigitalOcean:

1. Log in to your GoDaddy Account and go to My Products. Scroll down and find Domains, then click Manage All.1. Login to your GoDaddy Account and go to My Products. Scroll down and find Domains, then click Manage All2. Choose your domain.2. Choose your domain.3. On the DNS Management page, click Add.3. Click Add4. Choose “NS” (nameserver) as the Type. Insert “@” in the Name. Put “ns1.digitalocean.com” in Value, and choose TTL Duration. Hit “Add record” once you are finished. Do this repeatedly with:              “ns1.digitalocean.com“; “ns2.digitalocean.com“; “ns3.digitalocean.com4. Input record details.5. Adding Record Successfully.5.1 Adding Record Succesfully6. Log in to your DigitalOcean Control Panel. Click the Manage dropdown menu and select Networking. Enter your domain name and click Add Domain.1.1 DO Control Panel - Network7. Create a new record under A. Enter “@” in the Hostname, then enter your custom IP address. Input your TTL duration then press Create Record. You can now wait for the changes to update in a few hours.2. Create Record

PRO TIP: Please be aware that when linking your GoDaddy domain to DigitalOcean, you are making changes to your DNS settings. This can potentially cause downtime for your website if not done correctly. Please make sure to backup your DNS settings before proceeding.
