How Do I Make a Progress Circle in Figma?

Last updated on November 24, 2022 @ 10:56 pm

As a Figma user, you probably know how to create basic shapes like rectangles, circles, and polygons. But what if you want to create a more complex shape, like a progress circle?

Creating a progress circle in Figma is actually quite simple. First, create a new rectangle.

Then, select the “Edit Points” tool from the toolbar on the left. With this tool, you can add points to the rectangle to create a custom shape. To create a progress circle, simply add four points around the perimeter of the rectangle.

Once you’ve added the points, you can adjust their position to fine-tune the shape of the circle. When you’re happy with the result, simply deselect the “Edit Points” tool and you’re done!

PRO TIP: This article is a little out-of-date and no longer relevant to the current version of Figma.

Now that you know how to create a progress circle in Figma, you can use this technique to create other custom shapes as well. So go ahead and experiment with different shapes and see what you can come up with!
