How Do I Make Text Bigger Than 72 in Photoshop?

There are a few ways to make text bigger than 72 in Photoshop. One way is to use the “Edit” menu. Under “Edit” there is an option for “Preferences.”

Click on “Preferences” and then select “Type.” In the “Type” preferences, there is an option for “Size.” Change the “Size” to whatever you want and then click “OK.”

Another way to make text bigger than 72 in Photoshop is to use the “Text” tool. Select the “Text” tool from the toolbar and then click on the area where you want to add text.

A text box will appear. Type in your text and then use the “Font size” drop-down menu to select the size of your text.

PRO TIP: If you are using Photoshop to make text bigger than 72, you may notice that the text starts to pixelate and become unclear. This is because Photoshop was not designed to handle text at this size, and as a result, the text becomes distorted at larger sizes. If you need to make text bigger than 72 in Photoshop, you should consider using a different program such as Illustrator, which is designed for handling large text sizes.
