How Do I Resize an Object in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 3:32 pm

When you’re creating a design in Canva, one of the first things you need to consider is the size of your design. That’s because different sizes are better suited for different purposes. For example, a Facebook cover photo is much larger than a Twitter profile photo.

If you’re not sure which size you need, don’t worry! Canva has a handy tool that allows you to easily resize your design to whatever dimensions you need. Here’s how it works:

PRO TIP: If you are looking to resize an object in Canva, be aware that this will only work if the object is a graphic. If you are trying to resize a text box, you will need to delete the text box and create a new one with the desired size.

1. Open your design in Canva and select the element you want to resize. 2. Click on the “Resize” button in the top toolbar.

3. A pop-up window will appear with all of the different sizes you can resize your element to. Select the one you need and click “OK.”
4. Your element will now be resized to the dimensions you selected!

That’s all there is to it! Resizing an element in Canva is quick and easy, so you can always create a design that’s just the right size for your needs.
