Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is a free data platform that allows you to measure user interactions with your website or app. It is the successor to Universal Analytics, which was released in 2014. GA4 offers several advantages over Universal Analytics, including improved data collection, granular event tracking, and support for machine learning.

To set up GA4 on your Shopify store:

1. Create a GA4 property.

If you don’t already have a GA4 property, you can create one in the Admin section of your Google Analytics account.
