How Do I Use Variable Fonts in Figma?

Variable fonts are a new type of font that gives designers more control over how their text looks. Figma is a vector graphics editor that allows designers to create and edit vector graphics.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma does not currently support variable fonts. We recommend using static fonts instead.

Next, click on the “Advanced” tab. This will open the Advanced Text Settings panel. Finally, click on the “Variable Font” tab.

This will open the Variable Font settings panel. Here, you can adjust the weight, width, and slant of your text using the slider controls.

You can also set the x-height and character spacing using the input fields. Once you’re happy with your changes, click on the “Apply” button to apply them to your text.
