How Do You Copy Icons in Figma?

Last updated on November 27, 2022 @ 9:13 pm

When it comes to copying icons in Figma, there are a few different ways that you can go about doing it. One way is to simply select the icon that you want to copy and then use the copy and paste feature to place it into the desired location.

Another way is to use the Export As feature and then select the format that you want to copy the icon in. Once you have done this, you can then use an HTML editor to style the text within the icon.

If you want to copy an icon from one Figma file and paste it into another, you can use the Export As feature and select the format that you want to copy the icon in.

To style text within an icon in HTML, you will need to use the < p >,< b > and < u > tags where applicable. These tags will allow you to change the font, size, weight and other styling attributes of the text within your icons.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma’s icon copying feature is currently in beta and may not work as expected. Use at your own risk!
