There are a few different ways that you can create waves in Photoshop. One way is to use the Wave filter. To do this, go to Filter > Distort > Wave. This will open up the Wave dialogue box.

Here, you can adjust the number of waves, the amplitude, and the wavelength. You can also choose to have the waves start from the left, right, or center. Once you’ve got your settings how you want them, click OK.

Another way to create waves is to use the Liquify filter. To do this, go to Filter > Liquify. This will open up the Liquify dialogue box.

Here, you can use the Forward Warp tool to create a wave effect. Simply click and drag in the direction that you want the wave to go. You can also use the Twirl tool to create a spiral effect.

PRO TIP: This article is about how to create waves in Photoshop. However, it does not mention that Photoshop’s Wave filter can only be applied to 8-bit images. If you try to apply the Wave filter to a 16-bit image, you will get an error message.

Once you’ve created your waves, you may want to add some text. To do this, simply create a new layer and type out your text.

Then, go to Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss and play around with the settings until you get something that looks good. You can also add a drop shadow by going to Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow.

Finally, if you want to add some color to your waves, you can do so by going to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation and playing around with the settings until you get something that looks good.
