How Do You Detach Variants in Figma?

If you’re working with a lot of different variants in Figma, it can be helpful to detach some of them so you can work on them independently. Here’s how to do it:

1. Select the object or layer that you want to detach a variant from.

2. In the Inspector panel, click the Detach button next to the variant that you want to detach.

3. The detached variant will now be its own object, which you can move and edit independently from the other variants.
