How Do You Loosen a Figma Joint?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:04 pm

Figma is a great way to loosen up your creative muscles and learn how to design in three dimensions. But what if you want to loosen up a Figma joint?

There are a few ways to do this, but the easiest is to use the Select tool (shortcut: V). Then, click on the point where you want to move the joint.

You’ll see a white circle appear. Drag that circle to rotate the joint.

You can also use the Scale tool (shortcut: S) to loosen up a Figma joint. First, select the point you want to move.

Then, click and drag one of the blue handles that appear. This will stretch or compress the joint, making it easier to move.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when loosening a figma joint, you can break the figure. Be sure to use a small screwdriver and be gentle when loosening the joint.

Finally, you can use the Freeform tool (shortcut: F) to create your own custom shapes. This is great for making organic shapes that can be used to loosen up a Figma joint. To use this tool, simply click and drag on the canvas to create your shape.

Conclusion:

There are a few different ways to loosen up a Figma joint, but the easiest is to use the Select tool. You can also use the Scale tool or the Freeform tool to create your own custom shapes.
