How Do You Make a Folded Corner in Photoshop?

Folded corners are a great way to add interest and style to your photos in Photoshop. They’re also relatively easy to create! In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to make a folded corner in Photoshop, using two different methods.

To create a folded corner effect in Photoshop, you’ll first need to create a new layer. To do this, click on the “New Layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.

Next, use the Rectangle Tool (U) to draw a rectangle on your new layer. The color of the rectangle doesn’t matter, as we’ll be changing it later. Once you’ve drawn your rectangle, go to Edit > Transform > Warp.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when folding corners in Photoshop, you can end up with jagged edges. To avoid this, use the ‘Smooth’ option in the ‘Corner Options’ dialog box.

A grid will appear over your rectangle. To create the folds in the corner, simply click and drag the top left and bottom right corners inward. Then, press Enter or Return to confirm the transformation.

Now that you have your basic folded corner shape, you can adjust the color to match your image. To do this, double-click on the layer thumbnail to bring up the Layer Style dialog box. Click on the “Color Overlay” option and choose a color from the Swatches panel.

You can also add a drop shadow or other effects to really make your folded corner stand out. When you’re happy with your results, click “OK” to close the Layer Style dialog box.

There you have it! Two quick and easy methods for creating folded corners in Photoshop!
