Most people think of Photoshop as a program for editing photos. However, Photoshop can also be a great tool for creating graphics for the web. One of the most common uses for Photoshop is to create text graphics.

There are a few different ways to create text in Photoshop. The most common way is to use the Type tool.

With the Type tool, you can click anywhere on your canvas and start typing. You can also use the Type mask tool to create a text mask. This is useful if you want to create text that follows a certain shape.

PRO TIP: When outlining text in Photoshop CC, it is important to be aware that the program will automatically smooth the edges of your text. This can result in your text looking blurry or fuzzy. To avoid this, make sure to select the “No Smoothing” option in the “Character” panel.

If you want more control over your text, you can use the Character and Paragraph panels. These panels give you access to all of the options for formatting your text. You can change the font, size, color, alignment, and more.

Once you have your text the way you want it, you can add some finishing touches with layer styles. Layer styles are effects that you can apply to your layers.

They include things like shadows, glows, and bevels. You can access the layer styles panel by going to Window > Layer Styles.

There are endless possibilities when it comes to creating text in Photoshop. By experiment with different techniques, you’ll find the ones that work best for you and your project
