Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool, which is primarily web-based. The software is available as a freemium product; the free version offers limited features, while the paid-for version has many more features, including the ability to use custom fonts, export designs to multiple formats, and more.

One of the most useful features of Figma is the ability to put text on a path. This can be used to create curved or spiral text or to follow the outline of an object.

To put text on a path in Figma, first, select the object that you want the text to follow.

Select the object you want to put text Figma

Then click on the “Text” tool in the toolbar or press T on your keyboard.

Click on the canvas where you want to start typing your text. A text box will appear. Type your text into the box and it will appear on the path. Type in the text Figma

For more adjustments to your text, go to “Resources>Plugin” and run the “Arc” plugin.

Run the arc plugin Figma

Once running, click your text again and adjust the bending strength of the arc to accurately follow the path shape.

Apply arc bend text Figma

Now, your text follows along the path accurately.
