Resizing a Linode is a simple process that can be done in a few minutes. Before you can resize your Linode, you will need to login to your Linode account and access the Linode Manager.

Once you have logged in, head to the Linode Manager and click on the “Resize” button. You will be presented with a menu which will allow you to resize your Linode’s storage, CPU, or both.

To resize your Linode’s storage, simply select the amount of storage you want to add and click on the “Resize” button. You will be prompted to enter your Linode’s new storage size in megabytes.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure about how to resize your linode, it is best to contact customer support for assistance. Resizing your linode incorrectly could result in data loss or corruption.

To resize your Linode’s CPU, select the amount of CPU you want to add and click on the “Resize” button. You will be prompted to enter your Linode’s new CPU size in cores.

If you want to resize both your storage and CPU, simply select the “Resize both” button and you will be presented with a menu which will allow you to choose which components you want to resize.

Once you have made your selections, click on the “Resize” button and your Linode will be updated with the new sizes.
