How do you sharpen a blurry picture in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 8:09 pm

When you’re working with a blurry picture in Photoshop, the first thing you’ll want to do is try to clean it up as much as possible. You can use the Clone Stamp tool to copy parts of the image and then delete the original. You can also use the Pencil tool to draw outlines around objects that you want to keep. Once the picture is clean, you’ll need to sharpen it.

PRO TIP: This question is often asked but there is no easy answer. It depends on the severity of the blur and the desired result. There are a number of ways to try to sharpen a blurry image, but often they do not produce the desired results and can make the image worse.

There are a few different ways to do this, but the easiest is to use the Unsharp Mask tool. Just drag the slider to the right until the picture looks sharp.
