The measure tool in Photoshop is a powerful tool that can help you to quickly and easily measure distances and angles in your images. This tool can be extremely helpful when you are trying to create precise layouts or when you need to compare measurements between two images. In this article, we will take a look at how to use the measure tool in Photoshop and how it can be helpful in your workflow.

When you first launch Photoshop, you will notice that the measure tool is located in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. To select the measure tool, simply click on it or press the letter “m” on your keyboard. Once you have selected the measure tool, you will notice that your cursor changes into a crosshair.

To use the measure tool, simply click and drag your cursor from one point to another. As you drag your cursor, you will see a white line appear between your starting point and your ending point.

PRO TIP: The Measure Tool in Photoshop can be found under the “View” menu. It allows you to quickly and easily measure distances between two points on an image. However, it is important to note that the tool is only accurate to within a few pixels, so it should not be relied upon for precise measurements.

This line is called a measurement line and it shows the distance between the two points that you have selected. Additionally, at the end of the measurement line, you will see a small circle with an angle value inside of it. This angle value shows the angle between the two points that you have selected.

If you need to measure multiple distances or angles in an image, simply click and drag your cursor to create additional measurement lines. You can then move these measurement lines around by clicking and dragging on them. Additionally, if you need to delete a measurement line, simply click on it and press the delete key on your keyboard.

The measure tool can be extremely helpful when you are working with precise layouts or when comparing measurements between two images. With a little practice, you will be able to quickly and easily measure distances and angles in your images using this powerful Photoshop tool.
