In Illustrator, the shape tool is located in the toolbar at the top of the screen. It is a black arrow with a white triangle on the end.

When you click on the shape tool, a menu pops up with many different options. The options in the menu include:.

– Rectangle
– Cylinder
– Ellipse
– Path
– Star
– Polygon
– Freeform
– Text
– Paths and Symbols
The most commonly used option is the Rectangle tool. When you select this tool, a rectangle appears on the screen. You can then use the cursor to drag it around the screen.

PRO TIP: The ‘shape tool’ in Illustrator is actually a set of four tools – the Rectangle Tool, the Rounded Rectangle Tool, the Ellipse Tool, and the Polygon Tool. Each tool can be used to create a different type of shape. To use a tool, simply click on it in the Tools panel and then click and drag on the artboard to create a shape.

The rectangle has a corner at the top-left corner and a corner at the bottom-right corner. You can also adjust the corners by clicking and dragging them.

The Cylinder tool is similar to the rectangle tool. However, the cylinder has a rounded edge. The Ellipse tool is similar to the rectangle and cylinder tools, but it has an oval shape. The Ellipse tool can be used to create circles and ovals. The Star tool is similar to the rectangle, cylinder, and ellipse tools, but it has a star shape. The Star tool can be used to create stars and other shapes with points. The Polygon tool is similar to the rectangle, ellipse, and star tools, but it has a polygon shape. The Polygon tool can be used to create shapes with many sides.

The Freeform tool is similar to the rectangle, ellipse, and star tools, but it has a freeform shape. The Freeform tool can be used to create shapes that are not rectangular or polygonal. The Text tool is similar to the rectangle, ellipse, and star tools, but it can be used to create text. The Text tool can be used to create text that is either uppercase or lowercase. The Paths and Symbols tool is similar to the rectangle, ellipse, and star tools, but it can be used to create paths and symbols. The Paths and Symbols tool can be used to create paths and symbols that are either uppercase or lowercase.
