If you have a Squarespace site, you may be wondering if you can password protect it. The answer is yes, you can password protect your Squarespace site. Here’s how:

First, log into your Squarespace account and go to the Settings page. On the left hand side, you will see a section called “Security.”

Under Security, click on the link that says “Password Protect This Site. ”

On the next page, you will be given the option to password protect your entire site or just certain pages. If you want to password protect your entire site, simply check the box next to “Password protect this site. ”

PRO TIP: Please be aware that password protecting your Squarespace site may prevent some features from working as intended, including but not limited to: search engine indexing, ecommerce, forms, and third-party integrations. Additionally, your site will be inaccessible to anyone who does not have the password. We recommend only password protecting specific pages or content on your site rather than your entire site.

If you only want to password protect certain pages, click on the “Pages” tab and then check the box next to each page that you want to password protect.

Once you have chosen which pages you want to password protect, click on the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

Now that you have password protected your Squarespace site, anyone who tries to access it will be prompted to enter a username and password. Only people who have the username and password will be able to access your site.

Conclusion:
You can easily password protect your entire Squarespace website or just certain pages within it by following the steps outlined above. This will help keep your website secure and ensure that only people who have the username and password can access it.
