How Do I Add a Texture Background in Figma?

Adding a texture background in Figma is a quick and easy way to add some visual interest to your design. There are a few different ways to do this, but the easiest way is to use the “Fill” tool.

To add a texture background using the “Fill” tool, first select the object you want to add the texture to. Then, click on the “Fill” tool in the toolbar (it looks like a paint bucket).

In the “Fill” dialog box, select “Pattern” from the drop-down menu. Then, click on the “Select Pattern” button and choose the texture you want to use.

PRO TIP: When adding a texture background in Figma, be sure to set the opacity of the texture to 100% so that it is completely opaque. Otherwise, you may accidentally create a transparent background.

That’s all there is to it! Adding a texture background in Figma is quick and easy.

And, using the “Fill” tool is the simplest way to do it.
