How Do I Add Chinese Fonts to Figma?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 2:27 am

There are two ways to add Chinese fonts to Figma:

    1. Use the Google Fonts library: In the left sidebar, click on the “+” icon and select “Google Fonts.” Search for the desired Chinese font and click “Add to project. ”

    2. Use an imported font file: In the left sidebar, click on the “+” icon and select “Import.” Upload your desired Chinese font file (.ttf or .otf format) and click “Open. ”

Once your Chinese fonts have been added to Figma, you can style text in HTML using the < p >,< b >, and < u > tags where applicable.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Chinese fonts, we recommend that you do not attempt to add them to Figma. Adding Chinese fonts to Figma can be complicated and may result in unexpected errors.
