How Do I Import a JPEG Into Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 9:17 pm

There are a few different ways to import a JPEG into Photoshop. One way is to simply go to File > Open, and then select the JPEG from your files. Another way is to use the Place command, which gives you more control over how the JPEG is placed in your Photoshop document.

To use the Place command, go to File > Place, and then select the JPEG from your files. Once the JPEG is placed in your document, you can move it around and resize it as needed. You can also use the

Layer Mask

tool to edit the JPEG.

PRO TIP: When importing a JPEG into Photoshop, be sure to check the image resolution and file size. If the image is too large or has a low resolution, it may not import correctly.
