Photoshop is a very versatile program that allows users to create and edit images in a number of different ways. One of the most common ways to edit an image is to open it as a layer in Photoshop.

There are a few different ways to open an image as a layer in Photoshop. The first way is to go to the File menu and select Open As Layer. This will bring up a dialog box where you can select the image you want to open as a layer.

PRO TIP: If you are not sure how to open an image as a layer in Photoshop, it is best to ask someone who is familiar with the program. Opening an image as a layer can be tricky, and if you do not know what you are doing, you may end up ruining the image.

Another way to open an image as a layer is to drag and drop the image into the Photoshop workspace. This can be done by dragging the image from your computer’s desktop or from another program such as Microsoft Word.

Once the image is open as a layer, you can then start editing it using the various tools available in Photoshop. You can use the Move tool to reposition the layer, the Eraser tool to remove parts of the layer, and the Clone Stamp tool to copy parts of the layer.

When you’re finished editing the layer, you can save it by going to the File menu and selecting Save As. This will bring up a dialog box where you can choose where to save the file and what format to save it in.
